Workshop for Beginners & more advanced yogis to strengthen and deepen their understanding about the origins and the foundation of yoga & to get started with your own practice.

The course includes:

-Brief History of Modern Yoga

-Most foundational Yoga Poses 

-How to breathe while practicing? 

-Introduction to Meditation and Relaxation

-Yoga in everyday life 

-Sharing circle 

Description:

The aim of this workshop is to get you familiar and deepen your understanding about the foundations of yoga to help you get started with your own practice or to deepen your ongoing one.

By providing a clearer understanding about the modern history and by learning about the most foundational yoga poses we can already get started with our own practice and start improving the quality of our every day lives. The intention is that after this workshop you are also ready to take part in any open level yoga classes and embark on your own journey in the world of yoga.

This workshop also works as a little retreat into yourself in the mids of our busy lives, giving you the chance to connect deeper with yourself, helping to relax and calm the nervous system and to open and strengthen the body.

The workshop is divided into a few different sections:

10:00-10:30 Welcoming circle & Brief History of modern Yoga

10:30-12:00 Hatha & Vinyasa Yoga Practice 

(introducing the most traditional asanas including Sun salutation)

12:00-12:45 Lunch break

12:45-13:30 Meditation & Relaxation

13:30-14:30 How to set up your own practice & Relaxed Hatha Yoga

14:30-15:00 Sharing & closing circle 

For the workshop you need your own yoga mat and a blanket, and preferably your own journal and a pen. Also for the lunch remember to bring your own lunch with you. Tea and snacks are included in the price.
